Lise In Earnest was born on a random Sunday morning on P8 Jazz, where tones from Lise Reinau's LP 'Lise for sjov - Lise for alvor' filled the air. A record found used in a local record store, complete with fine newspaper clippings - a corporate Christmas gift from DFDS shipping company in 1972.

There was no doubt about the color choice: blue is my favorite color, and the contrast between blue and orange is my favorite color contrast. Therefore, Lise In Earnest had to have blue hair as opposed to Lise For Fun's orange - a beautiful connection and contrast at the same time.

She carries winter's deep colors: blue hair like the cold winter sky, warm yellow like caresses from the fireplace, brown like the bare branches, and red like winter's berries. Lise In Earnest understands the language between seriousness and beauty, between depth and color splendor.
