The workshop takes place at Præstekærvej, 2700 Brønshøj, just 2 minutes from the bus stop for 2A and 5C.
There is also free parking in the area.

A few practical notes

If you’d like to bring your own yarn, that’s absolutely possible. I recommend bringing a good selection, especially if you’re not yet sure what works best for you.
As a general guide, yarn should be no thicker than what would fit a 4 mm knitting needle, although thicker yarn can sometimes work too, it really depends on how fluffy it is.

The quality of the yarn doesn’t matter too much, and part of the process is discovering what you like best and what works well with the technique.

If this is your first time tufting, I recommend choosing a design that isn’t too detailed.
A size around A4 is a good starting point, and A3 can also work if the design is fairly simple. If you’d like to bring home a finished result on the day, keeping the design manageable is a good idea.

How far you get during the workshop will naturally depend on your pace, your process, and how quickly you work. Tufting can also be a little physically demanding the first time, and you may need to rest your arms now and then, that’s completely normal.

If you have a small pair of scissors at home, feel free to bring them.

I’m also very happy to help with your design if needed, but you’re welcome to sketch something beforehand or bring a printed image of what you’d like to make.

A small note

I have a dog who is very sweet, gentle and calm. He’ll probably want to say hello when you arrive, but after that he keeps to himself. You’re very welcome to pet him, but he does know that he is not the centre of attention during workshops.
He may, however, occasionally try to “borrow” a bit of yarn.

Pay for all workshop materials now, so you don't have to settle up on the day itself.

The price here includes latex and free use of all my yarn. You get everything you need to create your own unique tufted artwork during the workshop.
